Terms of Service for “Chiko Kuchiku”

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set forth the terms and conditions for the use of the application “Chiko Kuchiku” (the “Service”) provided by M16 LLC. (the “Company”). Before using the Service, each user shall carefully read these Terms and use the Service only after agreeing to them.

Article 1 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms shall have the meanings set forth below:

  1. “User” means an individual who uses the Service after agreeing to these Terms.
  2. “Account” means the user information registered by a User in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company in order to use the Service.
  3. “Schedule” means a meetup, gathering, visit, or any other plan created by a User on the Service.
  4. “Member” means a User who participates in a Schedule.
  5. “Watch Mode” means a form of participation in a Schedule under which the participant joins the Schedule but is not subject to any Late Penalty.
  6. “Late Penalty” means the monetary charge, denominated in Japanese Yen (JPY), U.S. Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), or British Pounds (GBP), that is displayed in advance for the relevant Schedule and agreed to at the time of participation in the event of lateness.
  7. “Arrival Determination” means the determination made through the Service, based on the Company’s prescribed determination logic, as to whether a User has arrived at the designated location.
  8. “External Services” means services provided by third parties other than the Company, including but not limited to Google accounts and Stripe.

Article 2 (Application)

  1. These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the User and the Company relating to the use of the Service.
  2. Any guidelines, privacy policy, help materials, cautions, and other rules posted by the Company on the Service or the Company’s website shall constitute a part of these Terms.
  3. If the contents of these Terms conflict with any individual rules referred to in the preceding paragraph, such individual rules shall prevail.
